Leveraging ChatGPT for Enhancing English as a New Language Instruction in Morocco

Welcome to our workshop on leveraging ChatGPT for content and lesson plan creation for English as a New Language (ENL) teachers by Prof. Cowin for Everyone Academy! As part of Morocco's ongoing efforts to promote linguistic diversity, the Ministry of Education has recently announced the generalization of teaching English in the country's public middle schools. By embracing English instruction, Morocco seeks to equip its students with essential language skills that can enhance their educational and professional prospects in an increasingly interconnected world. As ENL teachers, you play a vital role in shaping the language skills of your learners, and ChatGPT can be a powerful tool to enhance your teaching. With ChatGPT, you can generate prompts, writing exercises, and discussion topics tailored to the specific needs and proficiency levels of your ENL learners. Furthermore, you can create interactive learning activities such as quizzes,and  games that provide hands-on language practice. Want to do Vocabulary Builders? ChatGPT can also create interactive vocabulary-building activities, such as word games, flashcards, or fill-in-the-blank exercises. Learn how to leverage ChatGPT to generate supplemental resources such as worksheets,  that cater to different learning styles.
